The Epiphone ECLPS59-TBV 1959 Les Paul Standard in Tobacco Burst offers an authentic vintage experience with modern enhancements. It features a mahogany body, AAA flame maple veneer, and USA Gibson Custombucker pickups. Crafted in collaboration with Gibson™ Custom, this guitar combines classic design with contemporary performance, complete with a VOS finish and a vintage-style hardshell case.
Body and Finish: The Epiphone ECLPS59-TBV 1959 Les Paul Standard features a mahogany body with a maple cap and AAA flame maple veneer. The body is finished with VOS (Vintage Original Sheen) polyurethane, giving it a classic appearance and durability. The iconic Tobacco Burst color adds a touch of vintage elegance, making this guitar a striking visual piece.
Neck and Playability: This model boasts a one-piece mahogany neck with a comfortable ’59 rounded, medium C profile. It also includes a long neck tenon for added stability and a smooth playing experience. The laurel fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and medium jumbo frets, which enhance both comfort and playability, allowing for easy bending and precise note articulation.
Pickups and Electronics: Equipped with USA Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups, the guitar provides exceptional sound clarity and warmth. It features a Switchcraft® selector switch, 1/4” output jack, CTS® pots, and 50s era wiring with Mallory™ capacitors. This combination ensures vintage tone with reliable performance.
Hardware and Components: The Epiphone ECLPS59-TBV includes Epiphone Deluxe vintage tuners with Keystone buttons for precise tuning stability. It also features an ABR-1 bridge, a Gibson Historic Reissue Stop Bar tailpiece, and a cream, non-beveled pickguard. These components contribute to the guitar’s vintage charm and functional reliability.
Case and Accessories: The guitar comes with a vintage-style brown and pink hardshell case that protects it during transport and storage. The case’s design is inspired by Gibson Custom, complementing the guitar’s overall classic aesthetic.
